Quartoloom Solutions ("we", "us") operates GyaanLoop at https://gyaanloop.com. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our AI-powered exam preparation platform.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and password (hashed).
• Usage data: quizzes taken, scores, topics, and time spent.
• Uploaded content: PDFs you submit to generate quizzes (processed to create questions).
• Technical data: browser type, device, and approximate location (city/state for syllabus alignment).

How we use data

• Provide adaptive quizzes, analytics, and topic summaries.
• Improve product quality and syllabus alignment.
• Respond to support requests and school onboarding.
• Send essential service communications (not third-party ads).

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
• We do not show ads in the student product.
• We do not use your uploads to train third-party AI models.
• We do not share identifiable student data with third parties except essential infrastructure providers (hosting, email, payments) under contract, and the analytics/advertising tools described below.

Analytics and cookies

To understand how GyaanLoop is used and how people find us, we use:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — page views, funnels, and product events (no email or name is sent).
• Microsoft Clarity — session replay and interaction heatmaps. Sensitive fields and PDF content are masked where possible.
• Meta Pixel — measures ad performance and helps us understand which campaigns lead to signups or purchases. We do not send hashed emails for advanced matching at this time.

These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can opt out of analytics event collection at any time from Account → Allow analytics. Opting out stops further events from being sent by our app; it does not delete historical data already held by those providers.

Data retention

Account and assessment data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account from Account → Delete account (signed in on web or in the mobile app). Pro access is cancelled immediately. Your data is kept for 30 days, then permanently removed. To restore the account during those 30 days, email info@quartoloom.com.
